Dr. Maulin Joshi

Maulin qualified in 2001 from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital and has continued with postgraduate training ever since. His main interests lie in restorative, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics.

Dr Joshi possesses extensive experience in all aspects of advanced dentistry. To ensure that you receive the best possible care, he works closely with the most highly regarded specialists and laboratory technicians to provide exceptional multidisciplinary treatment.

Maulin keeps abreast of the latest advances in dentistry through continuing
education programmes which far exceed the requirements of The General Dental Council. He completed his MSc in Clinical Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry in 2011 – the first MSc of its kind in the UK.

In addition to possessing an MSc, he has also undergone extensive training at the Kois Centre in Seattle which is recognised internationally as a training centre for dental excellence.

He is known for his gentle, relaxed and informal approach and ensures that all
patients get the same excellent care. When it comes to his type of artistry and
craftsmanship, Dr Joshi is known for providing an uncommon degree of
meticulous attention for his patients. This ensures your best possible smile is
really brought to life!

Dr Joshi was a finalist in the Dentistry Awards in the category of Best Young Dentist, London. He was also a finalist for the Aesthetic Dentistry Awards (the UK’s most prestigious aesthetic dentistry event which recognises dentists who create UK’s best smiles) in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

Outside dentistry, Maulin has a passion for travelling and exploring the world,
following the buzz of Formula 1 and an aspiration for photography.

Dr Nejal Joshi

Dr Nejal Joshi qualified from Guys and St Thomas’ Dental school in London 2001 and has continued her passion in Dentistry by spending many hours in post-graduate training above and beyond the expected requirement, to offer her patients dental techniques at the highest level of care to help restore and protect their teeth and smile!

Her dedication and passion for providing patients with a high level of dental care led her to study at and graduate from the world-renowned Kois Dental Centre in Seattle to deliver the latest advances in aesthetics, implants and restorative dentistry through the most up to date scientific research. Being part of the Kois centre as a graduate means Dr Joshi annually attends the symposium furthering her knowledge and keeping up to date. Kois trained dentists are passionate about what they do and achieving excellence in their work.

Dr Joshi has also further training in the UK in achieving the MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons, Occlusal Studies from the British Society of Occlusal Studies, cosmetic dentistry training, implant training, and facial aesthetics. She is keen to help her patients with anti-ageing treatments and skin health to optimize the results they want.

Her calm, gentle and approachable caring nature helps put her patients at ease and is a perfectionist by nature as well.

Outside of dentistry Dr Joshi spends time with her family and keeps active!

Georgiana is a fully trained, qualified and registered dental nurse. Georgiana decided to further her knowledge in many aspects of dentistry, taking courses in radiology.
She works alongside the clinicians, supporting implant, orthodontic, oral surgery and cosmetic cases.

When not at work, she can be found in the park or doing housework.

She also enjoys travelling the world, having nights out with friends and staying in with her family to spend time together on dinner and a bottle of wine.

Rajveer qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2017, and completed her Dental Foundation Training in the North East London Scheme. She has also undertaken training in the Maxillofacial unit at Royal London Hospital gaining a breadth of surgical experience making her very competent and confident with complex extractions.

As a certified Invisalign provider, she particularly enjoys minimally invasive smile makeovers, involving: aligning, whitening and composite bonding. Rajveer is also trained in Facial Aesthetics and very much enjoys treating the whole face rather than just a smile using anti wrinkle treatments. She is constantly keeping her knowledge up-to-date with the latest dental articles, courses and conferences and has subscriptions with several dental bodies.

In order to hone her skills and enable her to take on treat complex cases, she is currently undertaking a post-graduate certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry.

She prides herself on communication skills, ability to adapt and willingness to learn.

Dr Rajnish (Raj) Joshi

A highly skilled, experienced  and patient centred dental implant surgeon

Raj qualified in 2005 from Kings college london with numerous prizes and distinctions related to oral surgery, restorative dentistry, orthodontics and the practice of clinical dentistry. He was ‘proxime accessit’ for the University of London Gold Medal.

After qualifying, Raj went onto complete vocational training in the KSS Deanery in which he excelled by achieving 5* in all his assessments. This was followed by him winning the Vocational Trainee prize for best case presentation at the end of his training.

Following this Raj was selected for oral and maxillofacial surgery training posts at the Royal Surrey, Guildford and St Georges Hospital, Tooting. Here he developed and honed his surgical skills. During this period he was awarded the membership of faculty of dental surgery from the royal college of surgeons, England.

He was appointed soon after as clinical dental teacher in the department of oral surgery and acute dental care at King’s college london where he taught young dental students how to manage dental emergencies and surgical techniques.

In 2009, he was selected through competitive entry onto the highly renowned masters  programme in implant dentistry at Guys. He was one of the youngest graduates to qualify  from the programme and qualified with distinctions in both the clinical and theoretical parts of the examinations.

To further develop his knowledge and skills Raj attended courses nationally and internationally. His aim was to provide the cutting edge of implant technology in a painless and minimally invasive manner for his patients.

Soon after completing his masters, Raj took up positions in reputable practices providing a comprehensive dental implant service accepting both internal and external referrals. He provides a comprehensive implant and oral surgery service including:

  • Atraumatic extractions and socket preservation techniques.
  • Dental implants including immediate implants
  • Implant crowns, bridges, overdentures
  • ‘All on 4’ and ‘All on 6’
  • ‘Teeth in a day’
  • Bone grafting and sinus grafting
  • Wisdom tooth extractions

Raj has placed over 2500 implants and has achieved plantinum status for both the straumann and osstem implant systems. This status is only awarded to experienced clinicians providing a large volume of implants. Through his meticulous planning and skills he has achieved success rates of over 99%.

Raj’s passion for teaching has led him to mentoring other dentists in the planning, surgical and restorative phases of implant dentistry.

Sonal Tanna (Dental hygienist and Therapist)

Sonal graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008, gaining a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy, and has worked with Dr Nejal Joshi for the past 12 years in a previous practice.

Sonal’s positive attitude and bubbly nature makes patients feel at ease and comfortable whilst under her care. This has resulted in building a great relationship with her patients.

Sonal is a member of the British Society of Hygiene and Therapy and also the British Association of Dental Therapy. She enjoys going on courses to keep her knowledge up to date with new products that keep developing within the dental field.

In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and friends.
